Tic-Tac-Toe

Maybe you remember Tic-Tac-Toe from your childhood, playing with friends in class or marking with chalk on the sidewalk.  When I saw these containers, two hinged wooden boxes and an old film can for a reel-to-reel projector, and I thought of Tic-Tac-Toe.  My mind works in weird ways!!!

 I took the three containers shown here and saw how they could have Tic-Tac-Toe boards on the lids.  That allowed the pieces to be stored inside the container – so no more lost pieces!  Here is my take, with the board and pieces done in glass.  I see each item I create as unique, so in this case, the boards and color combinations seemed to fit the selected container.  The pieces all have a small piece of cork on the back for ease of playing.
