Using 3D Art

Last week I talked about creating some 3D pieces with frit, shown in the foreground of this photo.  They are just the springboard for finding ways to integrate them into other projects in a way that enhances both.

I have found several ways to use this new 3D option in projects, shown here.  Starting on the left, above the tiny spoon needed for filling the frit molds, are two drawer knobs, one with a red rose and one with a yellow flower; a flower pot plate with a variety of seashells on the rim; a stained glass rose-decorated opaque candle holder with arched sides; just below the candle holder is a white soap dish with two red roses; a trinket tray with a single slender flower; a windchime piece using three seashells; and just below the soap dish are three flower-ornamented magnets.
