Bear-ly Here . . . Part 2
Teddy bears. Last blog I showed the steps in starting a glass project and I was working on creating a teddy bear. This week I can show the finishing steps.
Once the teddy bear comes goes into the kiln, I get to work on the frame. I do add a hanger to the back so the frame can either sit on a table top or hang on the wall. After slipping the finished fused teddy bear into the frame, I add a couple of details that would make the glass to thick to slip into the frame, if I completed the art before framing. The video here shows all of the steps needed and the finished product.
Hint: there are actually 2 finished products in the video!
We enjoy making items that represent special times or special people. If you want a special item, contact us by emailing here or contact us on Facebook.
Next week: another child-focused product.
